Rag Quilts are sewn a little differently than traditional quilts. The seams show on the front and are clipped. Then the quilt is washed and dried to give it that "rag" look. Thy are usually made of flannel to give them a nice snuggly feel, but can also be made out of homespun fabrics or cottons. They can also be made with or without batting depending on the weight of the quilt desired. |
